Race Day Schedule and Bib Pickup
Welcome to the 26th Annual Exeter Elementary Get Fit In May 5K and Kids Fun Runs! Here are some logistics and reminders.
Bib pick up for the 5K & fun runs will be in the Lincoln Street School gym. Registrants can pick up their bibs for the 5K and Fun Run on either Friday afternoon or Saturday morning before the race. If you’ve missed online registration, fear not! You can register for the race on Friday afternoon or Saturday morning – in person!

Please park in the parking lot and walk to the back of the school to enter the gym from the ramp entrance – please do NOT go to the main entrance.
Saturday, May 18, 2024
7:00 am – registration opens – Lincoln Street School gym (25 Lincoln St, Exeter, NH 03833) – use back ramp entrance – same as Friday (bib pick up and day of registration)
8:00 am – 8:15 am – fun run warm ups with the LSS PE teachers
8:30 am – kids 1/2 mile fun run
8:45 am – kids 1 mile fun run
9:30 am – 5K starts
Come early and enjoy some face painting, our amazing DJ, play on the playground, and meet up with friends and classmates. It’s going to be a great community event. We’re looking forward to seeing you there!
The in-person 5K will be on Saturday, May 18, 2024, at 9:30am, on our fast course that loops its way through several neighborhoods that border the elementary schools. The fun runs for students will be as follows:
- 1/2 mile for grades K – 2nd
- 1 mile for grades 3rd – 5th
Participants who register for any Get Fit in May event by 11:59 pm on April 15, 2024 ET are guaranteed to receive a t-shirt. Proceeds benefit Exeter’s Preschool, Main Street Schools (K – 2nd), and Lincoln Street Elementary School (3rd – 5th).
New This Year! 65 Plus Discount: Our race is endorsed by the New England 65 Plus Runners Club (www.ne65plus.org)! As such, we offer a $5 registration discount to any runner who is 65 or older on race day!
Entry Fees
| 5K: ages 17 and under (all students who register for the full 5K can run the appropriate fun run — 1/2 mile for grades K-2; 1 mile for grades 3-5 — free of charge! ) | $30 |

| 5K: ages 65 plus | $25 |
| Fun Runs: grades K – 5th | $10 |
A processing fee is added to all online registrations. This fee is added by the processing service and does not go to the Exeter Elementary PTO or the Get Fit in May race committee. Please note registration and associated fees are nonrefundable. Thank you for your support!
Awards: We will be offering a cash award to our top-place male, female, and non-binary runner! We will also have 5-year age groups with an award for the top runner in each group for male, female, and non-binary runners.
